I also got to see the most amazing show. We got tickets to Wicked back in May and we were so excited to go see it in Lansing. The show was almost indescribable. The acting was superb, the singing was masterful and the costumes and sets were awe inspiring. This is a picture of the girl who played Elphaba. She rocked!
On Saturday we went to the Detroit Science Center to see an exhibit called Our Body: the universe within. It was all about the human body and it used actual bodies that had been preserved by replacing the water and fat with a plastic compound. There were whole bodies and parts that were all displayed to show the various organs and muscle structures. It was really cool.So now I still have a week left of my vacation, culminating with the reading of the 7th and final Harry Potter book. (gotta be honest, I know he won't but I really think Harry needs to die!)
